A personal
approach to care.
A face and neck lift is surgery to address visible aging changes such as sagging cheeks, jowls, deeper folds and loose skin or excess fat beneath the chin. It lifts and repositions facial tissues and removes some excess skin; a neck lift may be performed with it to improve neck contour. It does not erase fine lines or sun damage, and natural aging continues. Surgical risks can include bleeding, infection, scarring, swelling, numbness and, rarely, nerve or skin injury.
A consultation considers your goals, health history, prior procedures, medications, supplements and smoking status. The clinician examines facial structure, skin quality, fat distribution and the neck, and may take photographs. Together, you can discuss whether a face lift, neck lift or another approach fits your concerns, what surgery can and cannot change, possible risks and realistic expectations. The plan should reflect your anatomy, preferences and overall health.
